General Bridges wasnt attached to any Light Horse Unit, he was in command of the AIF and Sandy was brought home for his funeral after Bridges was killed at Gallipoli. Bridges was also the only soldier brought home for burial and is buried at Duntroon. (Until the return of the unknown soldier that is! There was no comment during the unknown soldier interment about Bridges being returned,,,,,,,,,, the media made a very big thing of the Unkown Soldier being the only Australian killed in action and returned home)
