Gullett identifies at least five regiments of the ALh involved in the taking of Beersheba - 4th, 5th, 7th, 11th,12th, with the 4th and 12th involved in the initial charge. As well there were british infantry, artillery, NZ mounted rifles Camel corps. Preston (The Desert Mounted Corps) mentions The Australians only by Brigade on reltion to Beersheba.
