My Grandfather (Charles Fitzpatrick) was in the 8th Light Horse and served at Gallipoli and the Middle East. My father has a copy of a photo of a captured Turkish flag held by my Grandfather (Trooper 672, Scout)and other troopers (Now also in Aust War Museum). I'm interested in any history of the 8th Light Horse.There seems to be very little published. Anyone have any connections to the 8th Light Horse? Shaun Fitzpatrick.
