Ann, I've read the book "Lighthorse".(refered to a little down the list) Samson being the main character, author Lawrence McCrea. It was an interesting read, obviously based on facts to a degree, to what degree I don't know. The story is basically about Samson's experiences from birth through WWI. I borrowed the book through inter-library system.
