The infantry breeches had less flair in the hip generally. The flair is to give more movement for mounting and dismounting, and you sure need it. Most troopers breeches dont have leather inserts, that was mainly for officers with tailor made items. THe Breeches varied in pattern and colour depending on the manufacturer. The item we are selling is copied off an original pair and colour matched to a pair from WWI
