Did he transfer to the 2nd AIF?? If so the records would possible held with his WWII service records at the Defence Department in Melbourne. AWM dont retain any record like that. If he wasnt in the 2nd AIF ,,,,,,,, have fun,,, they are going to be difficult to track down
