I ref you to page 94/95 of Time Life Book Australians at War The Light Horse by Ian Jones.
You will see a drawing of the a Horse with full equiptment and showing the type of Bandilier worn around the camels kneck these were I beleive inter changeable between animals.
Camel Corps SOP's state this as well as a number of refer's books
