correction got the wrong Gale, AF Gale did not transfer to the 4 Div Arty, sorry
to read about our light horse in France you should see Doug hunter's book on the 13th LHR which was the 1 Anzac Corps mounted regiment later The Australian Corps,
If you want to read about AF Gale you should see "Hooves, Wheels & Tracks" which covers the History of the 4/19th PofW Light horse, it has a good bit on the 4 ALH Sqn in the 2 Anzac Corps which later became the 22 Corps hence the 22 LH. I hope that is of help
