WG Mackay served 8th Lt Horse (viz., William Gordon Mackay) who was "mentioned in Despatches" His service records do not provide details of this or his general service, having enlisted as Corporal but rising to the rank of Lt. Anyone know of how I might find some details on his service? Am trying to buy copy of book "Maygar's Boys" which I gather is a history of the 8th Light Horse. Has anyone come across Gordon's name in any of the books, diaries etc?
