Yes the dates are right by the AIF nominal roll, if you can trust that, but unconfirmed in the CWG lists.
It is not Russia as Australian's didn't arrive till June 1919 and the only Light Horseman killed there was Capt Allan Brown Ex 2 LHR attached 49Bn KIA 20-7-19, that I know of. So possibly the Egyptian Revolt but the unit is the 13th LHR which didn't serve there, so its a worry?
