I ever like to think a vetern would tell porkies,
Did you try Percy Young 2743A shown as 46Bn enlisting in 1916, since that Bn is a Victoria unit it mite be him? and his number shows him as coming from other unit before the 46Bn!
As you know the other Percy is shown in the 2 FAB enlisting in 1914, many dropshorts dressed as Light Horse men with leggings and wore a half bandolier, they looked the part!
