Poor choice of words, should read "dress looked like the Light Horse".
I get many people who think there relations were in the L.H. but on closer look at the photo and AIF nom roll you soon find the error.
I was 20 years in the RAAC and my grandfather was in the 10th LHR, Camel Corps and 14th LHR, also I am finishing the Unit History of the Camel Corps.
I did mentioned the the Bandolier was a half type also know as an artillery type, a left over from the type 1903 webbing. That is pouchers in front but not in the rear, I have both types if you need to see them.
I am sorry I didn't make it more planner in my discription, I'll try better next time, I hope.
