I hope i understand your criticism correctly. I work for a State Library and have a few friends working in other similar institutions including the AWM. I am not coming to the defence of AWM but you might like to know that the said institution suffers in pretty much the same way as all public museums etc. that is limited funding in relation to the job at hand. This translate into -for sratrters- not enough staff to deal with the collection as one may wish. Sadly this includes conservation. As far as the AWM is concerned there is still a large amount of unopened material dating back the Memorials original request to the public.In regards to copyright this is worked out on a case by case basis depending on the donors wishes as far as i know charges do only relate to cost.
