There were a lot of photographs 'not taken'. Has any body seen a photograph of nurses riding horses? Some body from the ALHA some years ago stated that 'nurses rode horses in emergencies'. Was it side saddle? Can any body support this statement with photographic evidence and proof. Another ALHA member and re-enactor stated that the Light Horse travelled 'one hundred miles a day in the desert with only three canteens of water for man and horse'. Can any body support this?
