Something Rob just wrote brings up an interesting point. Exactly who is meant when we state that 'The AWM believes...' or 'The RSL thinks...' and so on? Surely in any case where we credit an organisation with an opinion, that opinion could not possibly be unanimous, unless it's a very small organisation, so who speaks for these bodies? I'm not saying such opinions aren't valid, but I believe it's a pertinent question to ask because whoever it is immediately has their personal opinions elevated to a point where they become almost impossible to challenge because that personal opinion has mutated to somehow become the opinion of an organisation.
