Hello there I am researching my husbands family history. He had a relative who went to Australia and enlisted. He was rumoured to be in the 6th lighthouse brigade (WW1) and fought in Galipolli. His name was LEONARD ORR. I do not know if he enlisted in NZ first or if he went to Australia first then enlisted. Can anyone help re confirming this info. He was also rumoured to have been wounded in Galipolli. As one knows genealogy can be like chinese whispers so everything is supposition until checked out. Has anyone heard of a book called..... Under the furred hat or...... Under the third hat. Any help on this will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Carol Orr/NZ
