I assume the bits, being WWI dated, are the standard army reversible type. I regret I can't help with the names which I expect are Australian. However, I have a horse-shoe case of the pattern without the fixed frog, this type having a slot for a strap to attach a separate sword frog. This case is dated 1901 and stamped "NOBES & HUNT". As is often the problem the manufacturers address, or town, is omitted but as the case is also marked to the "West Kent Yeomanry" I am certain the firm is British and was probably based in the Birmingham...Walsall area.
