Lawrance Ordnance at 802 George Street Sydney has advertised in the latest Australian Shooter magazine, 'reproduction lighthorse equipment - Pattern 1903 mounted bandoleer. Nine pocket leather bandoleer as used by the Australian Lighthorse during the First and Second World War. An excellent reproduction.... $99.00; 10-rnd belt pouch....$15.00; bayonet frog....$19.00; water bottle carrier....$39.00; waist belt (2 sizes)....$39.00. They also have reproduction British Zulu War helmets in khaki and white, fit 54 to 62 for $69.00 (These could be alright for Boer War re-enactors?) I.S. Wright at Ballarat usually have light horse itmes in their postal auction catalogues, but expect to pay top prices!
