History is controversy, not something set in stone that is 'known', and most surely not something generally agreed on by everyone. Not everyone agrees with your 'blot' theory of the Morant controversy, and plenty of people will march on Anzac Day even though the diggers of WW1 were also known to sometimes shoot their prisoners.
