Recently found a sword lying buried under a wood pile on a property. The sword is obviously made of good quality steel as the rust literally fell off reveiling little pitting to the blade or guard. Sword is slight curved with two grooves on either side. About 30 inches with a metal guard (mild steel) and the only marks are on the grip and they are 74 followed by a backwards c. Did any Oz military use this weapon???
