Andrew, Impossible to identify from description given, without further info or photos. Blade..30 ins., and twin fullered?. Guard.. is it a simple stirrup, if so exactly what shape?. Or has it side bars, or is it a bowl shape..plain..perforated..symetrical..offset.. Is the grip wood..covered in fishskin or leather. bound with wire?. Has the grip a steel/iron backpiece..if so, this is probably contiguous with the pommel. Does the hilt hilt guard have langets?. Does the backpiece to the grip have ears which wrap around the grip?. Is this any help to providing a fuller description? John.M.
