I beleive the C Sqns of both regiments (4th and 12th) formed up in column or route. Only A and B Sqns were in line extended.
Also I beleive the 11th Light Horse was moving to form to the rear of the 4th LH Brigade at the time of the charge and followed the advance after the 4th and 12th set off.
