Chauvel, Bourchier and Grant

All these General and Sirs and Lieutenants, I'm getting confused but is this the gist of it. Chauvel was head of the desert activites and then for the Australian contingents - Bourchier was head, with Grant in charge of the 4th and 12th LH. Is that the basic order?
