11935 Private Joseph Cornelius COX, a 18 year old Junior porter from 73 Stewart Street, Paddington, Sydney, New South Wales. He enlisted in the AIF on 18 September 1915 and was allotted to the 9th Field Ambulance, Section B which embarked from Sydney, New South Wales, on board HMAT A24 Benalla on 1 May 1916. During the Great War COX Died of Wounds, 22 July 1917 due to air raid on 2nd Australian Casualty Clearing Station, France.
