30 Able Seaman Driver Arthur Charles CONNELL, a 30 year old Machinist from 9 Bent Street, Paddington, New South Wales. He enlisted in the AIF on 10 March 1915 and was allotted to the 1st Royal Australian Naval Bridging Train which embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board A39 Port Macquarie on 4 June 1915. During the Great War CONNELL Returned to Australia 29 May 1917.
