6486 Private Herbert Alfred CREDGINGTON, a 28 year old Boundary rider from 8 Bent Street Paddington, New South Wales. He enlisted in the AIF on 7 February 1916 and was allotted to the 1st Battalion, 21st Reinforcement which embarked from Sydney, New South Wales, on board HMAT A40 Ceramic on 7 October 1916. CREDGINGTON was Wounded in Action, 10 August 1918. After the Great War CREDGINGTON Returned to Australia, 6 May 1919.
