1825 Private Edward TAYLOR 
 

1825 Private Edward TAYLOR, a 22 year old Labourer from 31 Bent Street, Paddington, Sydney, New South Wales. He enlisted in the AIF on 5 January 1915 and was allotted to the 3rd Battalion, 4th Reinforcement which embarked from Sydney, New South Wales, on board HMAT A9 Shropshire on 17 March 1915. Subsequently, TAYLOR was Wounded in Action, 4 June 1915 at Gallipoli and lost the left eye. During the Great War TAYLOR Returned to Australia, 17 March 1916.
