1214 Private Michael Parnell CRONIN, a 24 year old Farmer from Yeelanna, South Australia. He enlisted on 13 July 1915 and was allotted to the 9th Australian Light Horse Regiment, 9th Reinforcement which embarked from Sydney, New South Wales, on board HMAT A14 Euripides on 20 October 1914. Subsequently CRONIN was absorbed into "C" Squadron and was Killed in Action, 19 April 1917, during the Second Battle of Gaza.
