11th and Evacuation.
Dear "Non-Com." - I read the par in "The Western Mail" on May 11 by E. Gardner that the 11th Battalion was on Gallipoli on November 11, 1915, as shown by his pay book. My pay book shows I was paid at Anzac on December 12. There were about half-a-dozen of the 11th who left Gallipoli during the evacuation on December 19.
