1011 Private Alexander Hugh PANTON, a 38 year old Secretary from 11 Morriston Street, Leederville, Western Australia who enlisted in the AIF on 21 February 1916 and was allotted to the 51st Infantry Battalion, 6th Reinforcements which embarked from Fremantle, Western Australia, on board HMAT A66 Uganda on 20 September 1916. During the Great War PANTON Returned to Australia, 17 June 1918.
