Adelaide Street Parade, 1940.
The film portrays a parade in Adelaide during early 1940 with the specific aim to bolster support for Australia's contribution to Britain's war against Germany.
This sequence of film was taken by George Bolton who served as the Mayor of Burnside. Bolton shot all his movie footage with 16mm, all of which is now stored in the Burnside Library, Adelaide.
