German prisoners, 1914/15
A column of German prisoners being marched through a French town during the winter of 1914/15. The guards are from a French Hussar regiment. They are still wearing the 1874 model Shako and sheep skin coats. One of the German soldiers is wearing a Pickelhaube (left of picture).
