Henry "Dick" HEARTY
Second Lieutenant Henry "Dick" HEARTY, a 24 year old Farmer from Boulder, Western Australia who enlisted in the AIF on 18 May 1915 and was allotted to the Special Draft, AIF Officers which embarked from Fremantle, Western Australia, on board HMAT A29 [i]Ormonde[/i] on 13 March 1918. On arrival in England for further training HEARTY was allotted to the 44th Infantry Battalion. After the Great War HEARTY Returned to Australia, 26 May 1919.
