England Glyde, formerly a permanent resident of Perth and lately a visitor, returned to Melbourne last week after experiencing a severe bout of '"flu." He was a major in the 28th Battalion "over there," and when I saw him in hospital about Armistice time, he was wearing a nice little half-bracelet of five wound stripes. It was bad luck that the war didn't last longer, because I know he was anxious to get back - perhaps to complete the bracelet!
