The latest infant among R.S.L. sub-branches is Pithara. Mr. J. D. McConnell, a veteran of two wars, is the president. He served with the Victorian Mounted Rifles in the Boer War and the 44th Battalion in the Great War. Mr. McConnell is doing well in the wheat and sheep line.
