Matron Ethel Gray, O.B.E., R.B.C., who was some years ago matron of the Perth Hospital and came in contact with thousands of diggers in her work abroad with the A.I.F.,. has been for three years, since its, inception, in charge of the Epworth Intermediate Hospital in Victoria. She was at one time matron of the 1st Australian General Hospital, and before that had been matron of several hospitals connected with the Australian forces. She is a sister of Doctor Gray, of Perth.
