TESTED AND FOUND WANTING.
Dear "Non Com.," How does this fit in?
A shepherd appeared before a tribunal in Yorkshire applying for exemption from military service. The chairman asked the usual question: "Cannot a woman mind sheep as well as you?"
"Well" replied the applicant, "I don't think so. A woman did try once, but she made a mess of it."
"Oh! Who was she?" demanded the chairman.
"Bo-peep," was the unexpected answer.
"Ex-Yorkie," Scotsdale-road, Denmark.
