Doctor A. J. H. Saw, M.L.C.
The returned men in this State lost a very good friend when Doctor A. J. H. Saw, M.L.C., passed away last week. He gave distinguished service in the A.I.F. in Egypt and Palestine, where he was a lieutenant-colonel in the Australian Army Medical Corps. To serve overseas he resigned an honorary portfolio in the Wilson Government, an act sufficiently rare to be notable. In addition to his many other useful activities as a citizen he was a hard working member of the State War Memorial committee and always proudly wore the badge of membership of the R.S.L.. Doctor Saw's untimely death is a distinct loss to the State of Western Australia.
