Lieutenant David Henderson MACDONALD, a 25 year old Area officer from Reginald Street, Cottesloe, Western Australia. He enlisted with the AIF on 21 August 1914 and was allotted to the 11th Battalion, E Company which embarked from Fremantle, Western Australia, on board HMAT A11 Ascanius on 2 November 1914. GORDON subsequently was Wounded in Action, 25 April 1915; and, then was Killed in Action, 28 June 1915.
