50 Sapper Lionel George Fuller BURTON, an 18 year old Electrician from National Theatre, Sydney, New South Wales. He enlisted on 21 August 1914 and was allotted to the 1st Field Company, Royal Engineers which embarked from Sydney, New South Wales, on board HMAT A19 Afric on 18 October 1914. During the Gallipoli Campaign he was Wounded in Action, 25 April 1915. Subsequently he Died of wounds 25 July 1916 at Pozieres, France.
