274 Sergeant John Huon HOOKE, a 24 year old Clerk from Melbourne, Victoria. He enlisted on 17 August 1914 and was allotted to the 6th Battalion, C Company which embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A20 Hororata on 19 October 1914. He subsequently Died of Wounds, 25 April 1915.
