Lieutenant James Herbert MIRAMS, a 23 year old Engineering student from 'Merton', South Road, Brighton Beach, Victoria. He enlisted on 26 August 1914 and was allotted to the 2nd Field Company Engineers which embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A3 Orvieto on 21 October 1914. MIRAMS subsequently was Wounded in Action, 14 August 1915, and then Died of Wounds, 19 August 1916.
