On March 22 Sir Henry MacMahon, High Commissioner for Egypt, accompanied by Lieutenant General Sir John maxwell, commanding the troops in Egypt, inspected the New Zealand Division under the command of Major General Sir AJ godley, on the Zeitoun parade ground. Reading left to right:-
