1894 Private Walter Vivian ELLIOTT, a 20 year old Farmer from Empire Vale via Ballina, New South Wales. He enlisted in the AIF on 16 June 1915 and was allotted to the 26th Battalion, 3rd Reinforcement which embarked from Brisbane, Queensland, on board HMAT A55 Kyarra on 16 August 1915. ELLIOTT subsequently was allotted to the 26th Battalion, "?" Company. During the Great War ELLIOTT was Killed in Action, 23 December 1915.
