Gustav Adolf Dittmar from 300FA was captured by the 9th Light Horse Regiment on 8 October 1917 at Goz el Basal near Gaza. Dittmar's aeroplane was shot through the petrol tank by 2nd Lieut RC Steele and Lieut JJ Lloyd-Williams from 111 Squadron.
