Albert Harold BAMBLETT
1967 Private Albert Harold BAMBLETT, a 22 year old Mechanic from Port Victoria, South Australia, enlisted in the AIF on 1 September 1915 and was allotted to the 32nd Battalion, 3rd Reinforcements which embarked from Port Adelaide, South Australia on board HMAT A28 [i]Miltiades[/i] on 7 February 1916. During Great War, while with the 32nd Battalion, Private BAMBLETT was wounded in action during an attack lauched from 300x Trench immediately west of Delangre Farm near Fleurbaix on 20 July 1916 and subsequently died of wounds on 17 April 1917 in Adelaide, and was buried at the West Terrace Cemetery, Adelaide, South Australia.
