The QM. wasn't in a very good mood when Bert Jackson paraded before him for new boots.
"What the hell's wrong with those you've got? They look all right to me and you'll have to wear them," he roared.
"But,” snorted Blue. "Have a look at these blanky soles! Why they're so blanky thin that if I tread on a traybit I can tell whether it's heads or tails!"
