Kenneth WARSKITT
7466 Gunner Kenneth WARSKITT, an 18 year old farmer from Kensington Street, Haberfield, New South Wales, enlisted in the AIF on 15 July 1915 and was allotted to the Australian 5th Field Artillery Brigade, 13th Battery which embarked from Sydney, New South Wales on board HMAT A34 [i]Persic[/i] on 18 November 1915. During Great War, while with the 5th Field Artillery Brigade, Gunner WARSKITT was killed in action around the Beugney-Ytrees area on 22 April 1917, and was buried in the Queant Road Cemetery, Buissy, France.
