Joseph BARDIOUX
512 Private Joseph BARDIOUX, a 22 year old Printer from Carlton, Victoria, enlisted in the AIF on 17 August 1914 and was allotted to the Australian 7th Infantry Battalion, "D" Company which embarked from Melbourne, Victoria on board HMAT A20 [i]Hororata[/i] on 14 October 1914. During Great War, while with the 7rh Infantry Battalion, "B" Company, Private BARDIOUX was Wounded in Action around Anzac Cove, Turkey on 25 April 1915 and subsequently died of wounds while on the hospital transfer in Alexandria, 30 April 1915. BARDIOUX was buried in the Alexandria (Chatby) Military and War Memorial Cemetery, Egypt.
