1634 Bugler Ernest Robert WALKER, a 39 year old Railway Employee of 590 Furby Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, enlisted in the Canadian Expeditionary Force on 12 August 1914 and was allotted to the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry, No. 4 Company. WALKER was wounded in action at St Eloi, 24 January 1915. During the Great War, he returned to Canada in 1915.
